Our Mission

Vinegar exists for the vulnerable, the real, and the hungry. We champion radical creation: work that rejects notoriety, work that is made from devotion. We want work that ferments in a notebook, lives in a photo booth rant, is found in a childhood picture. We want notes app confessionals and journal entries from cold nights.   

We value community above all else. This collective is for the everyday artists: the writer who never hits “send,” the painter working in the basement at 3:00 AM, the creators between shifts. We’re here to build something alive — something that bites back.  

We believe in independent art promotion as a form of resistance. When you support small publications, you support real people. When you submit, you’re fostering arts everywhere. 

Every submission is an act of trust —

And we are tender recipients.
